While taking some snapshots of my girls, my oldest decided to start "posing". And while SHE looked cool in the photo, the background of Pooh Bear stuff on my playroom wall didn't exactly fit the mood. So, I started playing around, and as we all know once I start I can't stop. This is the end result, which she was VERY pleased with! :)

Saturday we went to a Halloween party. It was huge, and it was fun. The girls got to dress up in their costumes, a dress rehearsal maybe? :) Anyway, they had a blast and came home with so much "stuff" that I can't wait to see what the house looks like after the actual Halloween has come and gone! I got some quick snapshots of them, as that's all they'd sit for...I'm hoping to get better ones tomorrow.

A Day in my Life

A day in my own life. I don't scrap about myself much, as I find my children, family and friends to be much more interesting subjects. However, everything that's happened to me this summer has made me realize how quickly things can change, and that I should include myself in my scrapping, especially for my children. This was more fun than I thought it would be. Nothing like sitting back and laughing at yourself and your day to make the stress go away!!

I used mostly my new Posies Past Page Kit, along with bits from the Golden Memoirs set, Friends are Forever Page Kit, and Frolic Page Kit

Out in front of my parent's old farm is an apple orchard. Granted, it doesn't have as many trees as it used to, but the old Duchess still stands. Sweet sweet apples. My grandfather, my father, my three, my niece and nephew, and one of their friends shown here.

Can it be? Is this thing finally working for me? I swear, I have to be the least blog-savvy person in the world. I've been trying for months to log in and update my blog, is it really working now?

We just got back from a spur of the moment trip to my sister's house in Vermont. The girls had a BLAST, as usual. We picked blueberries and apples, fed calves, among other things. I'll be back with some pictures!

Ack - FINALLY

So GEEEEEEZZZZ, I tried so hard to get to my blog yesterday from the crop!!! I had photos to show, funny ones! (sigh) Anyway, the crop was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I so didn't want to leave, I was having so much fun. You know, I work with just about the nicest people anywhere!!!!!!!!!! Meeting everyone was great, everyone is so different and funny! I'm so bummed I didn't get more time with Lisa, I was so looking forward to meeting this woman, who has helped me SO MUCH!!! But I did get to meet her, and that's what's important.

I can't post any photos until I get either home or to a hotspot that actually works. I tried from the airport, couldn't connect, and tried from the crop, but couldn't get into my blog! It's a conspiracy. :)

Well I'm off to go enjoy my last day here. It's been rough, meeting tons of new people, warm weather, sitting in the jacuzzi before bed every night...but I suffered through it somehow. heheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Close to my Heart

As you can see, I've not been the most faithful of bloggers. But I'm resolved that this will change. :) I'm headed to Anaheim, CA to meet the best team ever!!! Well, today is our last day in sunny California. I think I'm going to have to drag Dave kicking and screaming to the airport, he really wants to stay. :) Not that I wouldn't love it also, of course!! We've had an awesome vacation, and gotten to spend time with family and some of our best friends. But, alas, back to reality. :)

We are in sunny California!! It's great, I've really missed it here. We've had beautiful weather so far. Yesterday was my nephew's birthday party, which was huge and so much fun. The kids had an awesome time. Today we leave for Anaheim, we are driving down. The next two days we'll be in Disneyland!! I'm so excited, I've never been. I'm sure I'll fill up an entire card with photos - good thing I brought two! :) As soon as I get some photos uploaded, I'll get some up.
